Studio Etiquette at Hot Yoga Spa Nutrition & Wellness Center

Studio Etiquette

In order to maintain respect and preserve the sanctity of our studio, please kokua (cooperate) with the following yoga etiquette to enhance the harmony in which to learn and practice.  Mahalo (thank you)!

MAHALO FOR REMOVING YOUR SHOES

Please kokua and remove your shoes before you enter the yoga room and place in the storage cubbies provided. Mahalo!

TIMELINESS

The studio is open 30 minutes before and after class. Registering online is best. Please arrive a few minutes early so you can prepare before class. This will give you ample time to ask your instructor any questions, set-up and relax onto your mat. Class starts promptly and late arrivals will not be admitted. Mahalo!

PERSONAL BELONGINGS AND CELL PHONES

Please kokua and only bring your mat, towel and water bottle into the yoga room. No cell phones are allowed in the yoga room. Sweatiquette...If you sweat profusely, please be considerate and use an extra towel to wipe any sweat that has accumulated on the floor around you. We have these items for purchase or rental at the reception desk. We provide cubbies in the reception area for storage. Please leave your valuables in your car or at home. We cannot be responsible for your valuables. Mahalo!

PRIVATE SHOWERS/CHANGING ROOMS

We have private showers/changing rooms available for your convenience. Please kokua and limit your time, especially if there are others waiting. Mahalo!

MINDFUL QUIETNESS

Please kokua and be mindful to speak in a lowered voice in the studio, especially near the spa treatment rooms. Please do not talk in the yoga room before, during, or after class. Many students use this time to meditate and center themselves. Mahalo!
